We are in 1988 when, in the picturesque countryside of Modena, an intuition, a few ingredients and passion marked the beginning of a new chapter in Mirco Scacchetti’s life: the chapter of the chocolate salami.
The idea arose to compensate the lack of a special dessert to offer to customers of his restaurant, slowly turned into something more important.
Customers begun to order the chocolate salami and suppliers of his restaurant pressed Mirco Scacchetti for providing them with ever larger quantities of the delicious chocolate salami. This have turned a shy intuition a great idea.
And so, "from the production of a few pieces of sweet salami for our restaurant, we arrived to the supply of entire pallets for wholesalers who distribute our product to bars, restaurants, catering, banqueting and banqueting companies and groceries throughout Italy.
We born as a joke and we grew up giving a second life to a product that already existed for the customers of our local."- M. Scacchetti.
